Hi, there! 

I’m Whitney Jernigan! I began planning weddings in 2019 after “retiring” from teaching kindergarten for two years. I loved how I could put my skills of organization and managing chaos to use in the wedding industry. My real passion for wedding planning though came from my servant heart (Type 2 enneagram here!) and working with brides to create their dream wedding day. The process of taking a bride’s vision, working with her to bring it to life, and then seeing the joy the her face on wedding day has been incredibly rewarding.

Creating a planning process that is stress-free and enjoyable for brides is a huge priority for me. The season of engagement should be enjoyed and the main goal should be to prepare your heart for marriage! I believe you need someone on your team to help you achieve the most relaxed, but fun planning experience, so you can enjoy the moments that mean the most.

After planning over 30 weddings, I decided to grow my love for wedding planning by opening WJ & Co. Wedding Planning. Initially it was going to be a onewoman show, but after the outpour of support I felt, I decided to add the “& Co.” to bring on other professional planners who also enjoyed serving couples on the most important day of their life. Together we are stronger and can better serve our clients!

Our team has trained diligently to execute weddings at a high level. We have since gained many valuable connections with industry-leading experts and vendors. Each event is detailed oriented and planned to exactly what the bride and groom wanted! Together we guarantee that your wedding will be filled with unforgettable moments centered around you & your spouse.
